My artwork captures the essence of the subject with a poignantly sensitive classic realism. My paintings are composed to express the spirit and the charm of the subject in a moment in time. I am a believer in the strength and permanence of classic art and draw inspiration from the Old Masters. I consider Rembrandt and Velasquez my greatest influences.

My formal education began at the National Academy School of Design of New York, The Art Students League, The Boston Museum of Art and continued at The New York Art Academy in Manhattan. I have received numerous art awards and grants. I studied portrait painting with some of the best artists in the field including Sherry Canhy, Dan Gheno, Mary Beth McKenzie, and Sam Adoquie.

My work has been in high demand, including commissions from Europe, Australia, England, Canada, and throughout the United States. My latest exhibitions include the National Academy Museum, NY and the Queens Museum, NY.
